Heute war meine Green card (Permanent Residence Card) in der Post. Ich bin jetzt für die nächsten 10 Jahre legal und kann arbeiten, wenn ich möchte.
Ich warte noch auf meine Social Security Number, damit ich endlich meine Führerschein machen kann, aber das kann nicht mehr lange dauern.
Wir warten auch noch auf unseren Internetanschluss - das Haus von Jims Eltern ist momentan unser Internetcafe.
Morgen fahren wir nach Texas mit Jims Eltern zu Jims Schwester und Familie für Thanksgiving. 4 Leute und 2 Hund in einem Truck!
Today my green card (Permanent Residence Card) came in the mail. For the next ten years I am legal and can work, if I want to.
I am still waiting on my Social Security Card so that I can take my driver´s licence test. But that can´t take much longer anymore.
We are also still waiting on our Internet connection to our house - the house from Jim´s parents is momentarily our Internet Cafe.
Tomorrow we will drive to Jim´s sister and her family in Texas for Thanksgiving. 4 people and 2 dogs in a truck!
