Show Boat Branson Belle

Wir haben heute einen Ausflug mit den Senioren von der Gemeinde gemacht. Wir sind nach Branson auf ein Show Boat (Branson Belle) gegangen. Auf dem Schiff haben wir zuerst gegessen und dann gabe es eine Show. Es war sehr schoen. Es war ein Comedian, Musik und Akrobatik zu sehen. Das Wetter was auch sehr schoen, wie Ihr auf den Bildern sehen koennt.

We made a trip with the senior adults from the church today. We went to Branson on a show boat (Showboat Branson Belle). First, we ate a meal on the ship and then we watched a live show. It was very nice. The show contained a comedian, music and acrobats. We also had really nice weather, which you can see in the pictures.

Gebaeude und Tierbesetzung/building and animal occupation

In diesem Gebaeude wird unser Gottesdienst in Seligman stattfinden. Am Sonntag in einer Woche ist unser erster Gottesdienst! Wir (die  Startergruppe) sind alle schon aufgeregt. Wir sind noch am streichen und planen.

Auf dem rechten Bild seht Ihr Luvi und Wiggles, wie sie unser Schlafzimmer besetzen.

Our first service will begin next Sunday (November 2nd). We (the core group) are already excited. We are still painting and planning.

Nur noch zwei Wochen bis der neue Gottesdienst startet/only two more weeks until the new service starts...

Nur noch 2 Wochen, dann haben wir unseren ersten Gottesdienst in Seligman! Wir haben heute im Gebaeude gearbeitet und sind fast fertig. Wir muessen nur noch Kleinigkeiten streichen, eine Buehne bauen und putzen. Morgen haben wir das 125-jaehrige Jubilaeum in Washburn First Baptist. Wir haben morgens und mittags Gottesdienste und Mittagessen. 

Letzte Woche hatten wir Konferenzen mit den Lehrern der Maedels. Es ist alles in Ordnung.

Only 2 more weeks until we have our first service in Seligman! Today we worked some more in the building and we are now almost finished. We only have to touch up paint, build a stage and then clean the room. Tomorrow, we are going to the 125th anniversary of the First Baptist Church Washburn.  There will be the two regular services in the morning followed by lunch. Aftwards, we will have a "Celebration" service beginning at 2pm.

Last week we had teacher conferences for the girls. So far, everything is fine.

Arbeiten im neuen Kirchengebäude/working in the new church building

Am 2. November werden wir unseren ersten Gottesdienst in Seligman haben. Wir haben letzte Woche angefangen zu streichen und zu putzen. Wir haben auch Tische und Stuehle gekauft. Wir werden keine Sitzreihen im Gottesdienst haben, sondern Tische uns Stühle. Wir bekommen finanzielle Hilfe vom Baptistenbund in Missouri. Unsere Mutterkirche ist First Baptist Washburn, wo Jims Papa und Jim Pastoren sind. Bitte betet für uns!

On November the 2nd we will have our first service in Seligman. Last week we started to paint and clean in the building. We also bought tables and stairs. In the service we are going to sit around tables in groups. We are getting financial help from the Missouri Baptist Convention. The mother church is First Baptist Washburn where Jim´s dad is pastor and Jim Associate Pastor. Please pray for us!

Kuerbiszeit/pumpkin time

Heute Morgen haben wir Kuerbisgesichter mit den Maedels gemacht. Es ist aber immer noch warm hier (so um die 20-25 Grad C.).
Ansonsten geht es uns gut. Wir streichen und putzen ein bis zweimal die Woche das Gebaeude fuer unseren neuen Gottesdienst in Seligman. Am 2. November wird unser erster Gottesdienst dort stattfinden.

This morning we made pumpkin faces with the girls. It is still warm here (70 to 75 F).
We are doing well.
We are painting and cleaning the building in Seligman for our new service one to two times a week. The first service there will be on November the 2nd.
