Real Encounter

Letzten Mittwoch hatten wir hier in der Schule eine BMX Show Real Encounter (www.realencounter.org). Waehrend der Show werden BMX, Motorrad, Stunts und Akrobatik vorgefuehrt. Am Ende redet der Leiter ueber Jesus. Ein Junge aus unserer Gemeinde hat sich bekehrt.
Seit die Maedels in der Schule sind ist es ein bisschen ruhiger. Sie nehmen morgens um 7 Uhr den Bus zur Schule und ich hole sie um 15 Uhr ab. Bisher gehen sie sehr gerne in die Schule.

Last Wednesday we had a BMX show at the school (www.realencounter.org). During the show they showed BMX, motorbike, stunts and acrobatics. At the end of the show the leader talked about Jesus. One boy from our church accepted Jesus.
Since the girls are in school, our lives are now a little bit calmer. They take the bus to school at 7am and I pick them up at 3pm. So far they really like to go to school.

Stressige Woche/stressful week

Diese Woche war echt was los. Montag waren wir in der Notfallaufnahme mit M. Sie fuehlte sich nicht wohl und hatte Juckreiz. Sie hatte Eiterflechten. Wir bekamen Medizin und alles ist jetzt in Ordnung.
Am Mittwoch klagte J. ueber starke Halsschmerzen und Jim ging mit ihr zum Arzt, sie hatte eine Halsentzuendung und es gab fuer sie auch Medizin.
Am Freitagnachmittag haben die beiden Maedels draussen gespielt und J. hat mit Steinen geworfen und M. ausversehen unter dem Auge getroffen. Gott sei Dank ist es nicht ins Auge gegangen und sei hat "nur" ein blaues Auge.
Am Mittwoch ist Schulanfang. M. wird zur Vorschule gehen und J. in die erste Klasse. Das ist alles sehr aufregend für uns alle.

This week was really exciting. Monday we had been in the Emergency Room with M. She did not feel well and had itching problems. She had impetigo. She got medicine and now everything is o.k.
Last Wednesday J. had strong pain in her throat. Jim went to a doctor with her. She had strep throat and she also got medicine for it.
Friday afternoon the two girls played outside. J. was throwing stones around and accidentally hit M. under her eye. Thank God it did not get in her eye and she had "only" a blue eye.
Next Wednesday school starts. M. will go to kindergarten and J. will go to first grade. That is very exciting for all of us.
